CELEBRATING 52 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION IN 2007
The Mount Prospect Child Care Center has been nurturing children in this community for over 52 years. We have led the way in childcare in Mount Prospect, offering challenging curriculum, drop-in service and innovative Summer Camp programs, retaining staff members with sterling service records of 25+ years, achieving NAEYC accreditation and graduating over 1,670 children from diverse backgrounds, races and religions from our daycare.
We have just completed phase 1 of our outdated playground surface with state of the art safety grass material: www.safetygrass.com. Currently we are trying to raise an additional $30,000 to complete our rebuilding improvements of outdated equipment and surfaces. Our goal is to create the outdoor space that will provide safety and many fun opportunities for the current students, but also for generations to come. If you’ve driven by our center, you know it would make an improvement not only in the education of children but in the ambiance of the neighborhood of Northwest highway, as well as benefiting us all.
You may not know us personally, but if you ask a few friends or colleagues, they will probably tell you that they have some association with Mount Prospect Child Care Center, maybe their children attended or they know relatives or friends who have sent their children here to learn and grow. We, the members of the Parent’s Advisory Council, a not for profit organization, have an ambitious plan to rejuvenate our exterior spaces here at the center. We envision our new outdoor physical education center to inspire our children to play, create and learn early the importance of out door exercise and sport.
Please consider helping us achieve our goal by making a donation of your choice today, and also supporting early childhood education. Your donation is tax deductible as provided by law. We would also welcome an opportunity to speak with you in person at 847-253-5877, or e-mail us, if you have any questions about this project. Thank you in advance for considering our request!
Sincerely.
